70th Anniversary Celebration - June 17, 2014

We are excited to announce that 2014 marks 70 years of service to women and girls in our community. On June 17, 2014, we hosted a 70th anniversary celebration at the Kitsap Conference Center. It was a wonderful evening ... reminiscing with former members, socializing with current members, and sharing "Soroptimist" with potential new members. We also recognized our 2014 community service award recipients. We hope you'll be there with us to celebrate our next milestone ... 75 years!

Segmented Viewing of "Half the Sky: Turning Oppression Into Opportunity for Women Worldwide" and Member Marketplace - April 29, 2014

We hosted a special, segmented viewing of Half the Sky: Turning Oppression Into Opportunity for Women Worldwide. The video is just one of many educational tools to help raise awareness of women's issues, and to provide concrete steps to fight these problems and empower women. Change is possible and you can be part of the solution. Please visit our site frequently for information about upcoming documentary showings in the area.

Comedy Night at Cloverleaf - April 11, 2014

On Friday, April 11, 2014, we hosted the 2nd Annual "Comedy Night at Cloverleaf" fundraiser. All proceeds from this event helped to fund our 2014 community service awards. It was a fun-filled evening, full of joy and laughter. We will be hosting again in the future. We hope you'll join us.

Women's History Month with Kitsap Historical Society - March 7, 2014

A special event at the Kitsap History Museum celebrating Women's History Month! Copy of Event Flyer - Soroptimists of Greater Bremerton Area, Port Orchard, and Greater North Kitsap sponsored the exhibit, WOMEN'S WORK: BREAKING THE MOLD.
