In Celebration of International Women's Day

We are just one of many charities across the globe working to support women and girls and help them to be the best they can be. In observance of International Women's Day, we are hosting "Dance of the Decades" to raise funds to support the future of women and girls in Kitsap County.

Event proceeds will be used to fund our signature Soroptimist "Dream" Programs (the Live Your "Dream" Education and Training Awards for Women and the "Dream" It, Be It Career Mentoring and Support for Girls), our "Break Free Kitsap" Anti-Human Trafficking initative, our "Women Helping Women" program, and other service projects during the year.

We are going to have a GREAT time at Dance of the Decades!
Let's have some fun! Who remembers?

1940-1950's - the twist, swing, bop, jitterbug, lindy hop, and the birth of rock & roll music
1950-1960's - the mashed potato, fly, swim, funky chicken, monkey, and Do the Freddie
1960-1970's - the Latin, American, and street hustle, the bump, disco, line dancing and punk
1970-1980's - "Dirty Dancing", salsa, the lambada, slam dancing, moshing
1990-2000's - hip hop, line dancing, macarena, self-expression dancing

Join us in observance of International Women's Day as we move and groove to the sounds of the last 6 decades. Regardless of which "time warp" gets you there, you'll want to attend.
The music and dance is guaranteed to be fresh and exhilarating for sure!
